Assoc. Prof. Zili Wang Zhejiang University, China Speech Title: Metal Tube Bending Forming Equipment Design and Forming Process Optimization Technology Bio:Zili Wang is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Zhejiang University. His research interests include metal tube forming, design and manufacturing of metal plastic forming equipment, reliable prediction of product performance driven by intelligent algorithms, multi-performance simulation analysis and optimization design, digital-twin, etc. He has held or participated in 15 national research projects, and published over 60 SCI papers in journals like Journal of Manufacturing Systems, Robotics and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Applied Soft Computing, Advanced Engineering Informatics, Materials & Design, Expert Systems with Applications, etc. He has been granted 2 US patents, 1 Japanese patent, and over 30 Chinese invention patents. Dr. Wang is a young editor of Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing and Special Equipment, and a reviewer for over 20 international journals. He has been selected as a 2023 Outstanding Reviewer for Future Generations Computer Systems Journal and won a Gold Award at the Nuremberg Global Invention Exhibition in Germany 2023. |

Assoc. Prof. Yew Ming Kun Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia Speech Title: Composite Materials: Eco-Friendly Ultra-Lightweight Foamed Fibre-Reinforced Floating Concrete Bio:Dr. Yew Ming Kun received his Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Malaya in 2015. He holds the position of Associate Professor in Civil Engineering, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. He guided a significant number of postgraduate students, fostering their growth and engagement in numerous projects, leading to award-winning products, patents, and the development of "Green & Sustainable Building Materials." In his capacity as a Principal Investigator (P.I) and Co-P.I, he secured ten (10) intellectual property rights, encompassing both international and national domains. His accomplishments extend to receiving Gold Medals at ITEX 2011, 2019, 2020, and 2022, as well as a Gold Medal at iENA 2012 in Germany. He earned a distinguished accolade from the Japan Intellectual Property Association (JIPA-2022) for his exemplary work in The Best Green Technology Award. His scholarly contributions extend across more than 90 technical papers, primarily focusing on sustainable construction materials and fire protective materials/coatings with an emphasis on sustainability. He holds a prominent position as the Lead Guest Associate Editor/Editorial Board Member for over 10 scientific journals and also served as an invited reviewer for over 20 SCI Journals. In recognition of his exceptional work, he was awarded the 2023 Outstanding Editor Award and the Most Innovation Excellence Award in 2020&2023. |
